Wonderla – what/where is a cache? Please understand I have no idea what I’m doing; flying by the seat of my pants.

    Christine – I update at http://thecamowife.com/wordpress/wp-admin/index.php

Looking at your site you dont seem to have a cache plugin as far as I can see.

If you describe the steps you are taking to create a post and publish it then it will be easier to figure out.

Stuartwider – I sign into wordpress as the admin and choose “dashboard”. From there I choose Posts and add New Post. From there I add my title, blog and pictures. Along the right side there is a publish button. Once I’m finished I click this. I can then do back and choose All Posts and it lists the 6 posts that I have created but these do not appear on my site.

    what is a cache plugin?

I agree I cant see any new posts there. Sounds like you are doing the right thing though.

A cache plugin stores a static copy of your website, usually used to speed up a heavily visited website. They can cause confusion as they sometimes cause pages and posts not to update immediately unless you force them to clear the cache and store the update pages and posts.

If you do have one of these installed (which you would probably know if you did), you should turn it off for now.

Are you sure your posts are not being published to ‘draft’. You will know this if your posts are listed with the words ‘draft’ next to them.
