Does WP add slashes to The Loop’s contents?

    Hello!

    I wanted to replace a string in ‘The Content’ with a JavaScript-snippet. The filter I coded works very well, but there is one (big) problem:
    All single-quotes (‘) get escaped (\’).

    Is this a function of WordPress?
