Comment iframe Spacing Problems
-
Since no one has replied, I’m replying to say I have the same problem.
The first comment box on each page appears and expands as it should. Every one after that is full of white space:

The changelog mentions a spacing issue was fixed several updates ago.
@likefilthyrags I checked your site, but I couldn’t reproduce the issue:
http://i.wpne.ws/MjR5Does this happen with a specific browser or post? If so, could you post a link to the page where you could reproduce the problem?
Could you also try to deactivate your Cache plugin for a few minutes, and see if that helps?
Thank you for your reply!
It happens with every browser I’ve tried.
The difference is seen between the first post:

Thanks
http://likefilthyrags.comI just realized that we weren’t looking at the same page! I checked the comment forms under each Post, for example here:
http://likefilthyrags.com/scripture/1-timothy-11-7/#comments
http://likefilthyrags.com/thoughts/unanswered-prayer/#commentsBut your screenshot looks different, because you’re looking at your site’s home page.
http://likefilthyrags.com/Unfortunately, Jetpack Comments is not fully compatible with themes displaying the comment form on their home page yet. We’re working on it, but in the meantime I can only recommend that you remove the form from your home page, or deactivate Jetpack Comments.
Thank you.
Thanks for looking at it!
I’ll just href to an anchor at the comments on the single page.
Thanks!
I Am Having same problem wherein the Iframe is not expanding correctly. The fields EMAIL, WEBSITE, NAME are not displayed.
I think the problem is caused by the Iframe not expanding…
Is there a way we can disable the iframe expanding and just leave it expanded everytime a postpage is loaded.
I Love Jetpack but I needed to deactivate it because its giving my readers some troublesome to put up some comments…
@umleo23 Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

Hi,
I’ve got a problem on one of the sites I manage, http://www.thewritingpatch.com, with the spacing of the iframe in which the Jetpack comments box is loaded from the wordpress.com servers.
As you can see from the site, I have the comment box positioned above the comments, and the comment box should (as in all Jetpack installations) expand when clicked on. However, on occasion when the page is loaded, the iframe does not collapse initially, and instead there is a large amount of white space under the box. When the box is clicked on, this space disappears. I have uploaded screenshots to illustrate this effect:
Before clicking:

After clicking:

I have witnessed the problem in Chrome, Safari and Firefox on Mac, but it does not occur every time. I would love someone to help me pin down why it is happening so I can eliminate it and use an otherwise excellent comment system!
Thanks,
Oliver
