Problem with original iPad

    Hi:

    I’m using your PowerPress plugin with WordPress 3.4.2. I’ve discovered that there seems to be some kind of incompatibility with the original iPad running iOS 5.1.1 and Safari. Everything looks fine but I have no player. The same site looks fine on my iPhone running iOS 6.1.

    As you know Apple didn’t provide an upgrade path for the original iPad. Is there any fix for this?

    Your mp3, you should see a player, since iOS 5.0+ uses HTML5 player. If HTML5 player is not supported, then it falls back to a play image that when you touch, plays the mp3 in the media player on your iPad.

    Make sure you are in WIFI mode in your iPad, some 3g/4g Internet providers prevent playback of large media files.
