Linking web page and it doesn't work

I’m trying to thickbox an url and it doesn’t load, it freezes with the loading animation.

But if I do replace the link with another one ie: https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=-37.817925,144.964557&output=embed, that you provided as an example to another user on this forum it works beautifully!

Any ideas?,
