Desperately Seeking Help

I have installed get-a-post, however I do not know how to configure it to only show the post on the main blog page. Right now the post I am referring to, shows up on the individual post page. If you go to http://www.neospyce.com/blog and click on on of the post’s links, you will then see what I mean. The only way I could even figure out how to make the get-a-post to work at all was to create a page for it and call it up by page id, cuz it wouldn’t work on post id.
