    The promotion slider doesn’t display images correctly on IE8. I had this problem earlier, and this fix worked:

    Added this to line 762 of my active theme’s style.css file under the #content img rules:

    width: auto;

    The fix was broken when I upgraded WordPress, and re-applying it didn’t work.

    Helpful info:
    File: /wp-content/themes/weaver-ii/style.css
    WordPress: 3.4.2
    Promotion Slider: 3.3.1
    Website: AtlantaCatholicSingles.org

    About 25% of the visitors are running IE8 (from Google Analytics), so I’d really like to fix this soon.

    I really like the promotion-slider (other than the IE8 glitch). Workaround—is it possible to include code to not display the promotion-slider if IE8 is detected (or display a static image)?

    Thanks!
    Larry
