    I would like to see if there is or can be a plugin to add vehicle listings for sale on my site, much like autotrader.com without all the crap that you don’t need like excessive advertising etc. I would like to see it fully searchable, and have the option to allow users to list their own vehicles as well.

    Is this unreasonable as a request?

    I would like a classifieds plugin as well. There is one available but it works with some other site’s classifieds. I would like to set up classified adds that are basically like blog posts, only the display in a separate area of the blog and they are searchable separately from the rest of the blog.

    Geez – I guess I could just install a separate WP and set it up as the classified ads section… hmmm…

    anyway, this is one of my wishlists for future WP versions. To have multiple blogs more easily.

    We are actually working on a nice and simple classified ad script and plugin. This is just like what you have described. You can follow the development here, and it will be free to download and use.
