• This plugin has so many options, it can be overwhelming to a WordPress noob like myself. But I’m not complaining…well deserving of 5 stars. Highly recommended.

I have to lower my 5-star rating down to 1-star until some “functionality” is removed, or at least until it can be turned off in admin. With Jetpack installed, a subscriber to your blog has Jetpack shown in their Dashboard. Now, I have no idea of any security implications of this, but I personally feel that it is no one’s business but my own – and those I choose to tell – which plugins I do or do not have installed.

Rest assured, registered subscribers won’t be able to make any changes to your Jetpack settings.

They will, however, be able to connect their account on your site with their WordPress.com account. This will allow them to use the Toolbar Notifications, as described here:

If you do not want your site subscribers to be able to use Toolbar Notifications on your site, you can hide the Jetpack menu by following the instructions here:

Thank you, Jeremy. Your help is most appreciated.

Some of the exciting features that I am currently using in Jetpack are my posts are automatically sharing on several social media networks. My blog visitors are getting subscribed and they are coming back to see my new blog posts. My website is showing full-screen photos and now I m using my email to automatically publish my blog posts.
