Graphene Theme Home Page

I’ve been trying to work on my site using this theme and have managed to screw it up. Originally, there was a slider area at the top, and then an area beneath that for a post. I have managed to delete the post area and would like to re-create it. I don’t have any idea what I need to do and haven’t been able to find information to edit the main page. Can someone help me out with this? Thanks in advance!
