# 1.10.0 Update Error

 * Updating from 1.5.1 to 1.10.0 causes the following error:
 * `PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in //wp-content/plugins/portfolio-
   slideshow/lib/Plugin.php on line 57`
 * Had to revert back to 1.5.1

 * I’m sorry for my very delayed response to this thread.
 * I’ve just released version 1.11.1 about an hour ago – it’s the most stable version
   yet, and it’s been tested thoroughly. It works well for me and many other users,
   and resolves a number of issues that have come up on these support forums in 
   recent weeks and months, including the error you’ve reported here.
 * Try it out if you’re still using (or are still interesting in using) Portfolio
   Slideshow – and let me know know if it helps!
