Header Background

    Hey there. I am using wordpress for the first time, and i’am totally lovin’ it. However i am having many troubles. The latest one is that, using the NewsLayer theme, i can’t seem to be able to change the color of the header’s background. The style.css doesn’t have any reference to the background, the main div is independet from the header, and i wanted to use an image as a background for the logo. What can i do?

    I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

    i was able to use a black background for testing, but there’s still the white one behind…

    the problem is that i have the free version, and there’s no support for the free version…

    I’m sorry but the wordpress.org support forums are meant for the core application, themes and plugins that are distributed on wordpress.org. Did you download the free theme from wordpress.org?
