Visual Editor Not Functioning

    I recently upgraded to 2.1.2 from 2.1.1. I find that whenever I edit a post or try to post a new one, the only screen I get is the HTML editor. There are no tabs present and no other option to select the visual editor.

    Also, in the profile page I have checked the option to use the visual editor when writing.

    What could be the problem.
    I havent made any major modifications to the site.
