<?php bloginfo('description'); ?>
Add this in the index.php where you want it 🙂
Hey, Sushubh…thanks, dude. I just learned something new today! 🙂
You may love Opera, but I still think you rock! lol…
no problemo mate. this is one of those tags that should BE there in the default template along with:
<?php posts_nav_link() ?>
Sushubh what does posts_nav_link ?
Root: link to next page when paged posting is used, I think.
<< Previous Page :: Next Page >>
with one single code 🙂 with post paged ofcourse!
You turn on “Post Paged” from the Admin panel. Go to “options” and then “reading” tab and you can set the number of posts to show and the drop down list next to it will allow you set “post paged”.
Regards
/wp-admin/options-reading.php
show the most recent dropdown.
okey dokey! thanks…. now I guess I need to insert the <?php posts_nav_link() ?>
somewhere…. any simple way of explaing that to me? 🙂
Looks handy. Even I can manage this. Thanks.
well, have seen some really crappy replies else where. thought i had be a little more carefully responding to new guys.
Thanks Sushubh… that was easy enough. I’m rushing this, I know (because I have wanted to implament it for a while now)… Iv’e got it working, but with butt-ugly URLs… i.e. http://www.wairoa.com/index.php?category_name=district-info/&paged=3
Is that normal?
oh pages under categories do get messy! 🙂
ok, thanks for the confirmation… looks like a job for REWRITE RULE MAN… 🙂
