problems with my product categories

    Hi.
    I have a web shop and I really need a sidebar with the produkts. That I have.. But my products need alot of sub categories and when I add them they show instead of the main category…

    I want to have a main category like “Audi” or “VW” and then sub categories like “Coilovers”, “shock absorbers” etc. Like when you click on the main category, you get a dropdown of the sub categories. But i cant figure out how to get it like that..
