image gallery and WYSIWYG

    And when i try to upload an image in 2.1, I get an error message Unable to create directory public_html/wp-content/uploads/2007/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Any thoughts on how to rectify this?

    Unable to create directory public_html/wp-content/uploads/2007/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    Surf to wp-content/uploads.

    If you don’t have that, create it. Change the permissions to 777. Upload an image using your admin area. Go back and change your permissions on the folder back to default (usually 755).

    WordPress comes with a WYSIWYG editor.
