  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I have tried de-activating all plug ins, didn’t work!. is it possible to have more than 1 author or contributor? I will try finding another solution given that i have no access to the php file, and changing the theme would imply sooooooooooooo much work. However, i thank you for your support and will definitely try the last two options in the worst case scenario.

    Absolutely. You can have as many as you like. When did you last repair your database?

    Like a month ago, but it was another programmer that did it. I am not a programmer but i’m in charge of this blog. will definitely look for help.
