• I am using WPUF and front end editor by scribu. I was editing a page with front end editor and added a picture. I then removed the picture. After that, there was a thumbnail of that picture at the bottom of the page. It didn’t show up when you tried to edit the page with front end editor and it wasn’t in the backend editing of the page. So I looked to see where it came from and it was coming from <ul class=”wpuf-attachments”>. When I deactivated wpuf the thumbnail disappeared from the page. Anybody have this problem? Again this was a page and not a post, so wpuf shouldn’t have had anything to do with it.

  • I have the same problem. Anybody could help with resolving this?

    Thanks,
    Adrian

In WordPress when you add an image in any editor it adds it as an attachment. When you remove the image from the editor WordPress doesn’t remove the attachment. WPUF simply shows all attachments that are not in the post content. If you are not using the WPUF attachment button you can disable this by disabling the ‘Show attachment thumbnails in the post’ option

Thanks, this helped. However these attachments were on the pages, not on the posts.

Pages are stored as posts and WPUF can edit both so it doesn’t distinguish between the two when it comes to showing the attachments. Hence the option I gave above works for both.

    Ok! Thanks.
