• Guys, I have an unusual problem.

I noticed there were a lot of spam bot registrations on my site. So I cleared it out and added in a captcha , required fields to fill in and a confirmation.

Now I am still getting spam registrations, bypassing the captcha and required fields!

Luckily I have a confirmation as a last guard but I see the registrations in my email alerts but they aren’t visible on the dashboard panel… by right the email alerts should only come after confirmation, but I can getting the notices… can anyone help me with how to determine if they are really being registered?

    Thanks!

  • 1st, the most important:

What captcha are you using on your site? Obviously if you use ReCAPTCHA, it’s vulnerably on 53% to 77% on bots, if is one comparative captcha or read color it can be more than 80% success using bots.
Try usin PlusCaptcha is an dinamic captcha sistem with blind radius and spot.

Here is the documentario (in Spanish, but its easy to install):

    Good Luck!
