Mobile version at subdomain?

    Hello,

    Im just trying to figure out if it is possible to use a mobile theme on subdomain without using plugins. currently Im using wptouch free version. but I don’t like the time.

    I thinking to use my own custom-built mobile theme. but I don’t know how to setup that at subdomain.

    any idea?

    I think that it might be easier to just add a different style using media queries and skip the subdomain part.
    If you look at the soon to de new default theme, TwentyTwelve, they have some styles at the bottom of their stylesheet that only affect small screens.

    responsive design can be made only when you having minimal design.

    Its better to make a light version for mobile with small images, no js, no unused css.
