sidebar for specific page?

Hello,

I just noticed that sidebars of specific pages would be very useful. For example, when you see wordpress.com “About” menu, you may see *intro *requirements *Features … sidebar menu only can be seen inside “About” page.

How can I make sidebar like this that cannot be visible to whole site? Do I need to install plug-ins?
