• I recently noticed after updating some of my plugins that the comment box appears on pages even if the comment feature has been turned off.

I have WordPress with the Hatch theme installed on my site. Have a look at my contact page – you will see that “Leave a Reply” is available at the bottom of the page. Even though under “Discussion” in “Edit Page” I have “Allow comments” and “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page” unchecked.

Plugins I updated before this change took place are:
    > Facebook
    > Facebook AWD All in One
    > Yet Another Related Posts Plugin

I don’t know if these have anything to do with it, but I am thinking, that the Facebook plugin somehow has interfered with it. I also have the comment box turned off for pages in the Facebook plugin’s “Comment Box Settings”.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this without deactivating my other plugins? I don’t want a comment box showing up on my contact page. But I do want the comment boxes on my posts. Furthermore, if you try to type a comment too I get “Sorry, comments are closed for this item”. So it seems to be appearing there out of some error as comments truly are turned off. Please help me.
