Updating Slideshow deletes it

    Hello. I am having trouble editing the slides. I create a slide and everything seems to work fine. I can insert a shortcode and see the slide. Then I go back to the slideshow to change any setting, speed, size, or anything else.

    When the update button is pressed the screen flashes and hen there is a post with the slide name on it showing instead of the slideshow options screen. If I go back to slideshows, the slideshow has disappeared.

    Any ideas about what could be happening?

    Also, is there some way to edit the text for text slides in a big box? All I have been able to do is key in long strings in the small box I see on the slide. If a mistake in spelling shows up and I go back to fix it, then the slide disappears as described above.

    Hi,

    Automatically jumping to the updated post sounds like there’s a plugin interfering with the slideshow saving process. Perhaps you could disable some plugins to see if the slideshow is able to save again.

    That’s a good suggestion, the small boxes will be text area’s in the update of version 2.2.0, or earlier.
