Blank page after installation (still)

    Hello,

    I have went through quite a few posts on this apparently familiar problem but it didn’t help. I need some angel to walk me through this …

    Problem: I have installed WordPress with Confixx and Filezilla for the page valentin-zahrnt.de. I can log in and I am transferred to the page valentin-zahrnt.de/wp-admin – which is blank.

    I have created a .htaccess file with DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.php as a first line, I have tried to get an error report, I have emptied cookies and cache …

    But maybe I have done it wrongly. I have very little experience with this.

    Remove the .htaccess file and try re-uploading all files & folder from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    30 WordPress installations under my belt and still this just happened to me. Make sure that you activate your theme. Appearance > Themes > (Yours) > Activate
