2010 theme post comment page mis-aligned

On the blog page, when you press “leave a comment”,

you can see the next page is totally misaligned and I’m hoping someone can tell me why. I have used this child theme format many times before and it has never done this. Even if I put a permanent widget into the sidebar, it lands below the text container as you see on that page….. H E L P!!!
