Page returns a 404 error

    Hi,

    I have a page on my site but when I try to access it in a browser it returns a 404 error. But when I delete this page and create a new page, I can view it.

    An example of what I can’t view

    http://www.mydomainname.com/sitemap/

    An example of the page I create after deleting the old one and can view

    http://www.mydomainname.com/sitemap-2/

    -2 automatically gets added to the page URL.

    How can I fix the issue or how can I get the new page to have the URL of the page I deleted?
