• Hi, I have WP installed by a company here: http://www.zdean.de

Now, I want to upload an image WP says it doesn’t have access to the content/upload folder. Where and how do I fix this?

    Many thanks,
    Torsten

    No-one?

The error might be caused by file owner:group issues related to how (and as who) your hosting account is running your scripts.

You can ask your hosts support group to look into it for you, or you can try using your ftp client or the file manager in your hosts control panel to temporarily give the /wp-content directory write permissions so WordPress can create the uploads directory for you, on your first upload.

If successful, you should then change the /wp-content directory permissions back, and see if things seem to be working properly.
