cant delete posts or pages after I upgraded to wp 2.1

I upgraded to 2.1 and sometimes a post or page will post twice. one will say published and the other will remain unpublished. I then cannot delete the post or page from the admin area. I have to go into mysql and delete the post that way. When I try to delete the page or post it sends me to wp-admin/page.php and I get a page cannot be displayed error in firefox and IE 7. I did notice that every time I try to do something I get a box asking me if I want to or not as well as going between different tabs in the admin area. What’s up?
