• An existing WordPress website allows ‘ordinary people’, when logged in, to post events to a calendar, subject to moderation.

The website has failed, because ‘ordinary people’ have found the dashboard entry of events too difficult and confusing. They can’t be bothered to struggle, and so they don’t use it. Yes, they have been shown what to do in the past. That’s sadly where we are.

I’ve only just become involved, and I have little knowledge of WordPress. Is there an events plugin that allows that ordinary person (once logged in) to enter events from the front end, without having to see the dashboard? I can’t find one, and am thinking of recommending a swap to eg Drupal, which appears to allow this.

    Many thanks for any advice.
