• Hi,

    Booklite is great! Any way to make it responsive on a landscape device? It only uses half the screen when I rotate it on my Galaxy Nexus. Thanks for your excellent work!

    Thank you youknowben. Is that happening so? I don’t have a Galaxy Nexus to test. I will try to grab one and check. In the meantime, can you post like a screenshot? I would love to make this theme work on everything as much as possible. I was guessing it would work since it works on iPad/iPhone. 🙂

    Hi Chandra,

    Sounds good! It’s the strangest thing because stuff like the page links at the top, the colephon squiggly lines, etc. all center, but the title and the body text don’t. Hopefully these screenshots will help.

    The site is just dummy text right now, so not very coherent. But you can see the issue with the stuff I’ve plugged in:

    Thanks in advance for any help. The theme is fantastic, so that’s all the more reason I wanted to touch base with you about this. Cheers!

    Hi Ben,

    Just to check, you don’t have any plugins, do you? If you have can you please deactivate all the plugins just to see if any of them is conflicting? It looks like the content is left aligned instead of center. If it still doesn’t work, can you try these css and check?

    #main { text-align: center; }
    .entry-content { text-align: left; }

    I wonder if margin: auto is not working with this OS which centers the whole element..

    Thanks,
    Chandra

    Your CSS fixed it!

    I thought it might be the typekit I was using but removing it didn’t do the trick.

    If I load it in portrait now, it loads fine. And if I load it in landscape, it also loads correctly now. Weirdest thing is that if I load in portrait and rotate to landscape, the content correctly fills the whole window but for some weird reason the title doesn’t. It’s fine, though, as long as you load it in landscape or refresh.

    Thanks so much for your help! If you have any ideas for this last thing that’d be great, but if not I think this has fixed 95% of the issue. Have a good one!

    Please help!

    Exactly the same thing has happened to me!

    I am using Book Lite theme and all my poems were beautifully centred and now the text has moved to left indent.

    My website is http://www.potteringpoet.com

    The headings are still in the centre, it’s just the text. How do i fix this? I am not a tech savvy person, so will need a lay man’s explanation..

    Please help!!!!!
