• The delete link on my plugin page redirects me to my homepage and I can’t delete any plugins from the admin ui?
Its’ a new install, so I tried deleting the entire install including tables/database but it still does the same when re-installed. I’ve done a search on the forum but not found anything yet.
I’ve not seen this before, anyone have any idea?

  • Try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Hey Esmi,
I’ve tried a reset but without any joy?

Do you have any .htaccess files in the WordPress and/or domain root folder?

Love your hair by the way. Cpu-god just gave me rabbit ears and these poxy wings… Although I think a yellow nose is quite distinguished.

Since this issue is specific to your site, that would suggest that there’s a server issue somewhere. Turn debug on and enable error logging to see if that helps to identify the problem. also, check your server’s error and access logs for clues.

    Will do. Shall I report?

    Yes please.

Disregard that, it was just related to a plugin that needed updating.
There is now nothing showing in the log.

For clarity though, the bug is still present.

What theme folders do you have inside wp-content/themes?

    (@imagei)

    Just 2011 + 2010.

It’s a completely fresh install. The only reason I uploaded another plugin was to see if an uploaded plugin responded in the same manner as the embedded Akismet & Dolly.

And you cannot delete the Hello Dolly plugin?
