Posts Become “Protected” when edited or new

When I upgraded to 206, the posts are starting out as password protected. They also become Protected whenever I edit a post. How do I prevent this? The password that appears is the one I set up for the post by email settings. I do not want posts to be inserted as protected or have any edited post revert back to protected unless I manually remove the password from the post’s “Password Protect Post” option. Is there a fix for this. This has never happened until I upgraded to 2.06
