I want to create a login form and some pages where it is limited to members only area. I know there are many plugins out there for this. But, i would like to hear your thoughts which plugins you recommend me for doing this? Particurlay, if you have experience of this.

There are many options available for a Members Only area. You will find quite a few of them here on WordPress.org

The one I am most familiar with is our particular plugin, the LITE version of which is available here on .org and on our site

The Full version is here: http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/membership/

Mostly you will have to choose which is best for you based on the features you want your site to have, like gateways and content protection.
