1-Click Installation without replacing existing site

I’m sure this has been addressed before, I’m just super eager not to get it wrong so just to double check.

I want to do a wordpress 1-click install without replacing the existing site, so that the current site stays up until I finish putting together the new one, at which point it can be replaced. How do I go through the 1-click install process in order to do this?
