I noticed the update not on 1.5.3 that said it should support older php versions. However, I am still receiving a similar issue when I try to upgrade from 1.4

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/vhosts/thesandbagger.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/mailgun/mailgun.php on line 139

Hey there, sorry about that. It appears I missed at least one occurance of the array brackets when I was working on 1.5.3. I’ll fix it and cut a new release today.

@mailgun – I’m using PHP 5.6. Should I be able to upgrade to the next release with this fix? BTW, are you affiliated with MailGun? Thanks for a great plugin.

@boybawang Yes you should be completely safe to upgrade to the 1.5.3 release with PHP 5.6 🙂 I’ve tested the releases from PHP 5.6 up to 7.0. And yes, I am affiliated with Mailgun. 🙂

Thanks @mailgun 🙂 Before I upgrade, were there any database changes made?

@boybawang Nope, no database upgrades but we did add two additional option fields. Should be a seamless upgrade 🙂

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks, will try when I get a chance 🙂
