Ouch, love your plugin but as soon as I upgraded to the new version the new changes are interfering with the location functionality of my Directory theme.
It took me so long to find a good Calendar with functionality that worked and played well with my theme.
Guess I will have to roll back to the last version until I have time to figure out how the new updates to this calendar plugins use of location conflicts with my themes location coding and my new 404 error issues can be identified and corrected.
Help! I just realized this update must have broken my site! The site doesn’t even load. All you get is this error message. I can’t even get to the admin panel to do anything about it:
Warning: file_get_contents(/home/stantonuser/stantononline.com/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Main.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/stantonuser/stantononline.com/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 296

The same thing happened to me. Very scary. Not sure how to fix this one!
HELP!
In the meanwhile while we all wait for a reply from the developers, the person who hosts my website dug through the files and disabled the call to the Event Calendar, which has my site working again, but without the event calendar functionality.
This is crucial to this website carrying out its intended purpose, so if there is not a fix to the update, I will have to look elsewhere. I really hope we hear something promising soon!

This plugin is turning the website completely white, and occasionally the website loads a 505 error. I tested and this plugin is to blame. This update broke it! PLEASE fix this ASAP thank you!
I’m posting an update here as well as in the separate thread I created for this issue:
After the call for the Event Calendar was disabled in my files by the person who hosts my website, I was finally able to access the dashboard of my site again. I just logged in and saw that there was an update notification for the Event Calendar plugin. I updated and now the Event Calendar functionality on the front page of the website and the calendar page itself seem to be in working order again.
Originally, I thought this trouble was the result of the plugin updating automatically, but it turns out that that update didn’t actually happen. Perhaps what happened was that with the update being pushed out, the old version caused problems for some of our sites before we could even get on and do the update?
I’m no expert, but this series of events has definitely been strange and it is never good for a plugin to cause errors that keep you from loading or logging into your website. Thank goodness I had the help of my hosting provider. I certainly hope the developers can give some insight on this situation so I can be assured that it won’t happen again with future updates!
Hi,
I’m running into the issue where no events will show up on the monthly calendar view. It’s just blank even thought I have updated to the most recent version of this plugin and WordPress. I know this issue was supposed to be fixed according to https://theeventscalendar.com/hotfix-the-events-calendar-4-5-12-3/ , but it did not fix it for this site that I’m working on: http://www.carmelofreno.com/events/
I’ve double-checked that the events are published and showing up as they should be. Still, nada. Please help,
Thanks, Kristin

Hello @kristinbydesign @janiebee83 @jbeth8788 @donrosenberg @empire895 and apologies for the mass ping.
Can you please start your own topic?

Sticky topics like this one are not meant to have replies. Rather than jumping on a sticky topic (or even someone else’s topic) can you please start your own?
That really is the best way to get plugin support. I’ll archive these replies later on but you should all get the notification from this post.
