Вы знаете, вы тут сами виноваты скорее всего
1. не нужно вносить изменения в файлы темы, уж сколько раз твердили миру, что нужно использовать дочерние темы

2. плагины и темы сами не обновляются, если только вы не разрешили для них автоообновление в настройках
Установил на двух сайтах эту тему авто обновление включено не было. Хорошо, что на втором сайте не успел начать работу. Сейчас я там поменял тему.

Дело в том, что я не правильно выразился. Не тема обновилась, а установилась новая вот эта https://ru.wordpress.org/themes/online-estore/ и каким то чудным образом сама активировалась. И это произошло на двух сайтах где была установлена ваша тема eStore.
Может это какая то мошенническая схема? Нашли лазейку в вашей теме и через неё устанавливают и активируют свою. Только не понятно как они нашли мои сайты. Первый нигде не прописан (прототип). А второй вообще недавно был создан я его только делать начал. Оба сайта имеют домен третьего уровня. Разные хостинги.

Anyways, regarding how the theme you mentioned automatically activated, there are many possibilities including security vulnerability. However, we can not say that it is caused by eStore. It might be other reasons like other plugins, hosting, and much more. There is an article explaining to find out if your site is compromised. eStore theme has followed WordPress coding standards and passed review by Review Team. We also check for security and new vulnerability regularly in our themes.
