Hi,
You can hide the event info via the settingspage. That way only event details (date, time, etc) and the featured image are being displayed.

when I turn off the text there is an empty space between the photo and the meta information and I can’t remove it.

Hi,
If you’re using multiple shortcodes and you want different layout, not everything can be done via the settingspage or with attributes. You cannot hide info at event list 1 and show info at event list 2. Best way is to use custom CSS for hiding info at event list 1.
For less white space you must change the width of the event details section, via the settingspage. But this will apply to all events lists at your site.

You cannot succeed with changing the width of the event details section and the width of the featured image? Can be done via the settingspage. Set width of the featured image at 100.

Thanks for the help Guido, I think I managed two changes in css, I hope I did it right, I will send you a link when everything is ready. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use the short code on the homepage because Event info has been disabled.

Yes, I can help you with the CSS if you cannot make it look right.
I don’t want to include (shortcode) attributes for every element, because I don’t want to override the settingspage too much.

Do you mean you have an event category called “event”? That’s causing a conflict, don’t use “event” as category (slug).
