  • Hi:
    I’m new to wordpress and deeply attracted by it’s extensibility.
    Now, I have an issue about the picture size in the gallery with the theme of Twenty Ten.
    If I browse the picture I update in the gallery ( URI: http://www.bazixu.com/?attachment_id=337 ), the size of the picture become to 900*198, even thought the original size is 900*600.
    But I found that if I change to another theme, the problem disappear.

    How to solve this problem that keep the full integrity of a picture in Twenty Ten?
    Thanks!

  • I have solved it.
    I found that the default setting of TwentyTen is to cut the the large picture into 940*198.
    You can find a function in function.php as follow.

    set_post_thumbnail_size( $custom_header_support[‘width’], $custom_header_support[‘height’], true );

    Changing the true to false will cancel the function.
    BTW: I think this is not a good default setting for most people :[

    Additional:
    If you want to recovery the picture which has been cut, you should regenerate thumbnails by the plugin of “Regenerate Thumbnails”.
    You can get the plugin here
