    Hello arturino.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

I wanted to clarify the situation regarding the security alerts you’ve mentioned. The warnings you’re seeing from tools like Kinsta’s scanner or third-party audit plugins refer to an old vulnerability that was found in the premium (full) version of wpDataTables, specifically in versions prior to 3.4.1.

The Lite version of wpDataTables was never affected by this vulnerability because it does not include the related features (such as SQL-based tables). However, because both the Lite and Premium versions share the same plugin slug (wpdatatables), many security scanners cannot differentiate between them, which leads to these false-positive alerts.

We’ve published an official clarification on this topic here:
    👉 False Alarm – Vulnerability

We are actively working on releasing a Lite version update beyond 6.3.1 to help reduce these false alarms going forward.

In the meantime, I kindly ask you to consider updating or revising your review, as the Lite version you are using is not vulnerable and your site remains safe.

If you have any further concerns or run into other issues, please feel free to reach out — we’re here to help.

    Kind regards,
    Aleksandar
