Support » Plugin: Stackable - Page Builder Gutenberg Blocks » Отличный плагин но версия 3 все испортила!

  • Hi, you've made an awesome Gutenberg plugin. But version 3 completely spoiled the experience. You have combined the columns and the container - now it is almost impossible to create a cool design without code. The container was used as a full screen background placeholder. And the columns could be used by aligning to the width of the content and this made it possible to create any block and implement any idea. Now, if you put a block in full screen, then inside it you cannot create a block to fit the width of the content. And it turns out a crooked site on different screens, and it is stupid to align with indents. As a result, a cool plugin was corrupted. I understand that developers do not understand anything about design and selling sites. And they shouldn't. But you could consult with experienced designers, for whom you are actually creating this plugin. Please correct this problem. Blocks must not inherit the alignment width.

Hey Andrei, all the points you mentioned are all possible and easy to acheive – it’s just that the shift from version 2 to version 3 is quite huge and there will be adjustments. However, these are all positive things since it’s now much more possible to achieve even more designs in version 3 and it also paves the way for more blocks and capabilities for the future.

I would appreciate it if you asked first before adjusting your review to 1-star because we’ve worked hard to get to where we are and a hasty bad review really hurts us. We also have a community in Facebook here where other people can also help https://facebook.com/groups/wpstackable

The Container block has been combined with the Columns block, but you should be still be able to everything you could do before.

I think most of your issues are about aligning the contents of Columns. You can easily fit the content in 2 ways:

    1. There’s a content width option in the Column block that you can set to center. That would center all the Column’s content. You can also set it to wide to match other wide aligned content.
    2. You can adjust the alignment of the blocks from the toolbar, you can set those to center.

If you need more information about shifting to version 3, here are some resources that might help out. We are also working on some video tutorials which will be ready in a few days.
