You can also email support[at]smackcoders[dot]com to get in touch with our technical support team for more assistance.
Thanks.
I think this is because all the URLS of my images start with //, not http or https. Maybe this is the problem?
Google has long recommended using // instead of the protocol ih the URL.

Hi,
Publicly accessible images in the http and https format will get imported with our WP Ultimate CSV Importer. Please use the publicly accessible images in your CSV/XML file before importing it.
Thanks.
So if my images start with the / / characters, then your plugin can’t help me?
Please share one of the image URL to check the possibility. If possible, we will add the support for you.
For example, this post and the images inside it
https://orihiro.ru/statistika/
Images:
//orihiro.ru/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Statistika2.png
//orihiro.ru/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Grafik.png
Hi,
I opened this post https://orihiro.ru/statistika/, and opened the image links in two separate browser tab and the results are as follows
https://orihiro.ru/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Statistika2.png
https://orihiro.ru/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Grafik.png
Images on the site page is in the correct format. But I can see you have added the two unnecessary slash in the file before import. Use the edit and replace function in your file and remove those slashes available before the image URL. Save the file and try the import it will work fine.
Thanks.
Hi,
I will check with my team and get back to you tomorrow with the possible solution.
Thanks.
Hi,
Are you exporting the post_content and importing the images into another site or doing the import on the same site?
Regards,
Muthukumar.
I want to export posts and their attachments to another site.
Hi,
We customized the csv importer free plugin for your requirement. Download the customized plugin from the below link and try the import.

Do not fail to enable the “Post Content Handling Option” in the Media handling before proceeding to the last step in the import.
Thanks.
Yes, that’s much better. It works as it should. Thanks.
Do you plan to include these changes in a future version of the plugin?
I was happy early. The featured images of the posts were not copied. Why?
Hi,
We will check the possibility and add it in the next version.
To import the featured images, enable the media handling section and choose the radio-button field “use existing images if already available”, and try the import. It will work fine for you.
If the issue still persists, email to support[at]smackcoders[dot]com for more help.
Thanks.
