1) Booking Calendar Free version, support only 1 default booking resource, that’s why there is no “Resources” page.
The multiple booking resources (calendars) is supporting in any paid versions of Booking Calendar. Please check more here: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#booking-resources Please read the general instruction about usage of paid versions of Booking Calendar: http://wpbookingcalendar.com/faq/general-usage-instruction/
You can create the different booking resources ( http://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/#booking-resources ), unique calendars – your properties or services at the Booking > Resources page. And then you be able to insert booking shortcode (booking form or availability calendar) for for specific booking resource (your properties or service) into the post or page.
2) You can activate the “multiple days selection” mode instead of “single day selection” mode at the Booking > Settings General page in Calendar Section of your WordPress admin panel.

Thanks for prompt reply. Booking calendar appears to fit the bill and once we have confirmation from client and moved to “live”server I shall buy it
