• The post content is copyed from a RTF file, has an average of 1500 words. After saving or publishing it, the post edit area is blank and impossible to edit the post.
I have already disabled all plugins, switched theme, changed to another computer station, reinstalled wordpress, and nothing seems to solve the issue.

  • please don’t paste content from word processors into WordPress as the pasted text can also contain Word’s own formatting. As you’ve experienced, this formatting can stop your pages from being displayed correctly – if at all. If you cannot possibly manage without, paste your text into NotePad (or another text editor) first, then copy from NotePad into WordPress.

Thank you Esmi. I did this, copyed to notepad, saved as RTF format, cleaned all formating at the posting area, deleted any format in the text mode view. I realized this happened after wordpress upgrade. It also happens after more than 500 words. It seems like It has a kind of characters limit truncating the rest of the text inserted.
