Maddening Login

    Been trying since Sunday to build a site…. That is another issue entirely.

    Since yesterday, I have been attempting to login to this forum. A non-starter! Although I can login to me admin site (Wp.org), clicking on the link to the support forum showed that I needed to login. Attempted and attempted and attempted. Although me password and login are written down, nothing worked!

    Ok, attempted to reset me password. Another non-starter as me email is not registered!? Pardon? How can that be? So, I had to create a new email address to simply login to the support forum, as me old email was not accepted!!!

    Aye, errors happen, but this was absolutely maddening!

    Wait, WordPress.org and your website are not connected in any way. There’s no reason to think WordPress.org will inherit the details from your website.

    I’m no IT expert, but am completely aware of that!

    When working on my site in the backend, in order to get there I needed a WP.org login and password. Hmmm…. seems I wrote that down. Aye, I did! I wonder why I wrote that down (as I do with every website I am a member)…
