is `video` tag still supported?

    In past I had no trouble using this plugin with self-hosted files and the <video> tag. Now, when I input the HTML in the edit box and hit enter, the middle part of the <video> tag, which includes the <source> tag, is stripped.

    Has something changed with the plugin in the past year, that now prevents use of the <video> tag?

    I had a similar issue occur with the <embed> tag (yes, the switch is ON for the embed tag, in Media Settings). I have previously used the <embed> tag with the FlashVars attribute, when it’s needed to fetch videos from other domains. It worked fine.

    Now, the same type of stripping of data is occurring with the embed tag, and since it’s stripping the FlashVars attribute, I’m not able to use the embedding methods that worked fine in the past.

    Is it by design that the plugin is becoming less flexible?
