Is this gallery searchable?

    Are the title tags, descriptions, or alt tags supposed to be searchable? I’ve added words to each and the site search cannot find them.

    The galleries are included in pages or posts with a shortcode. By default, shortcode content is not searchable, because the search is done on the database, and the database does not know what the shortcode “translates” to.

    Doing a quick search it seems there are some plugins that add this capability.

    I think this is a good idea to include in a future version, so that this comes out of the box. I have added the issue to Github : https://github.com/fooplugins/foogallery/issues/103
