Can’t Browse Uploads

My site was running fine for nearly a year. Today, while editing a Page, I tried to browse my uploaded files from the browse tab at the bottom of the write page (I think it’s a frame). Instead of seeing a list of files in the lower frame, the frame displayed my dashboard. I get a similar problem when I try to view the list of uploaded files from the uploads tab. I can view the first page of uploaded files, but when I click on the browse tab, it takes me to the dashboard page. I didn’t change anything, however, my host recently upgraded their PHP from an older version 3.? to 5.2.6. I don’t know if this would cause any issues and I’m afraid to upgrade my WP to the latest version until I know what is causing this issue. Any Ideas?
