• This is a seamless spam protection that works really well.

    PROS

    – Works seamlessly with your comments, login and contact forms
    – Works with most known WP plugins as BuddyPress, WooCommerce, Contact Form 7, etc
    – No captcha, that is a great feature!
    – You can just ban spam comments and never see them, or set it to send the spam comments to the spam section for further review, it’s your choice
    – There is a nice feature called “Stop List” in which you set up words of phrases to be detected and the message is sent to moderation
    – Nice control panel with spam control analytics
    – The log section in the control panel lets you see all comments and messages analyzed and mark them as “spam” or “not spam”
    – Nice mobile App which is very handy if you have a very active community on your website, you can always review comments on the go
    – You get a free 14 day trial period which is enough to see if the plugin will work for you
    – 16 dollars a year for three protected websites is affordable and I paid them because the plugin really works

CONS (both have to do with marketing and sales, not with the plugin’s effectiveness which is really good)

    – Unless you review the Support section for the plugin (wordpress.org), there is no way of knowing the plugin is a paid service after the 14 day trial. It’s after you install it and they request the Access Key that you realize this is a paid service. I didn’t mind paying a yearly subscription, but it would have been nice to know before installing it
    – Once your 14 day trial period is over, you start receiving daily emails (per inscribed domain) to remind you to pay the annual fee. I don’t know if you uninstall the plugin the emails go away or if you have to cancel you account completely, neither of those I tried because I was planing to pay the subscription anyways, but a spam protection plugin that spams your inbox is somewhat contradictory

I ended up paying the annual fee because the plugin really works, but they should be more clear when users install the plugin, we should know since the beginning we are about to install a payed subscription plugin.
