Need help identifying a plugin
-
I’m trying to find the plugin that the following WP blog uses to display the number of visits per post:
Any help would be appreciated!

wp-postviews isn’t in the plugins directory of that site, so I don’t think that’s the one. Does anyone recognize the specific plugin from the output?
if you have alread poked around in the plugins directory, why are you asking here? And why are you not helping your cause by indicating what you have located by doing so?
Google the name of what you see.
Better still, contact the owner of the site and ask them.
Well I did look but I couldn’t tell which one it was, and I hoped someone here would recognize it. It’s not exactly a stupid question.
If you must know I KNEW the webmaster of the site but she died very recently, so I couldn’t ask. It’s always easier to assume the person asking the question is an idiot though, isn’t it?
Did i call you an idiot? No.
Did I infer you are an idiot? No.
Did I say it was a stupid question? NO.
What I said is that you can help your cause by providing info. That, believe it or not, saves ppl here time.
You poked in the plugins directory, obviously got some sort of info, but instead of coming here and actually providing that info, you ask “us” to go look.
it didnt occur to you that someone might more easily recognize the plugin if they had a directory name? Or a file name?
Are there thousands of plugins? So many that you cannot copy and paste the names?
You can be offended all day long, and youre not helping anyone to help you. Its up to you.
You know what, you could have easily ignored this question because you obviously don’t have the answer. Instead you’ve chosen to attack. I asked a simple question: Does anyone recognize the plugin? You don’t, and you’ve made that perfectly clear. Why keep responding when you’re not helping and don’t have the answer?
The best way for someone to identify the plugin (if they KNOW the answer) is to look at the output. Instead I get sarcastic crap from someone determined to set me straight about my methods. Go AWAY!
You don’t, and you’ve made that perfectly clear. Why keep responding when you’re not helping and don’t have the answer?
Actually, thats not quite accurate. I havent even clicked through the link you pasted in your first post.
Ive become even less inclined to do it with your subsequent replies.
Actually, thats not quite accurate.
You’re not responding unnecessarily to a question you can’t answer then? You’re not continuing to do so even though your not helping and don’t intend to do so?
Oh, it’s accurate all right. Go AWAY. I don’t want your help because you can’t help, won’t help, and don’t intend to ever help. Go AWAY.
1. I look at the plugins, by going here (which you indicate, btw, that you have already done).
http://www.dawn-schiller.com/wp-content/plugins/
2. I think to myself, self, what looks like it *might* be related to something like that. I see this:
top10.php 27-Jul-2005 18:45 3k
3. I google the name of that file, and add the word “wordpress” :
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=top10.php+wordpress&btnG=Search
and look what just pops up.
THE SECOND LINK.

Now, you could have made that easier by pasting what you saw when you looked at the plugins. But no, you wanted to make someone else work for you. That doesnt make you an idiot, that make you lazy.
Like you couldnt do that yourself?

In closing, dont presume that you know anything about anyone that helps ppl like you. You dont. You take care now.
Wow, this was the biggest waste of time here in weeks.
C’mon folks, this crap ain’t necessary. Closing and purging.
